Mr. Hamed Salem Issa Al Harrasy, Group Chairman hails from a respected Omani business family. He started his Family Business when he was 14 years of age. He worked in a bank, became one among the first staff of aviation handling agents at Seeb International Airport. Later he worked as assistant to commercial attaché at the American Embassy in Muscat and finally worked for 30 years in PDO mainly as a logistics specialist. He has recently retired from PDO service.

Today’s Teejan Group was started by him in 1974 soon after the first Omani Royal decree to establish commercial law was announced. He was running his business at his private time. From a humble beginning started a small Construction business, then became Trading and cleaning business and continued to add activities as the country grew. Teejan group today is made up of 8 companies in Oman engaged in Construction, Fire Safety & Security Engineering, Laboratory Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Cleaning machinery and Control systems, Food distribution, Furnishing and Hospitality. The business and operations are spread to UAE, Saudi Arabia and India. He is a seasoned businessman with a Professional approach. He is a full time member of the Management team.

Mr. Ameer Ahamed, a post graduate in Business Administration (M.B.A), joined Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd., (KSIDC) in India, a Government Organization at executive level for industrial development.  Subsequently, he joined the Senior Management position at an export oriented unit promoted jointly by KSIDC, as its Commercial Manager.

Mr. Ameer Ahamed joined Teejan at the senior managerial level, was promoted to the position of General Manager and later became the Executive Director of the Teejan Group of Companies..  Under his tutelage the Company has recorded immense growth in its core area of business, namely, engineering construction and commissioning, Civil Engineering and Fire Engineering disciplines; as also in retailing of Food Products and general trading. A member of Chartered Management Institute (U.K), he is on the Board of Directors of all the Group Companies, besides being a member of the Board of Directors of the Kerala State Industrial Development Corpn. Ltd., as a Government nominee.  He has set high standard of excellence for the Group and has expanded the group activities beyond Oman to the U.A.E, India and Saudi Arabia.

Mr.I. Musheer Ahamed, BE, PGDBA, with 17 years experience, joined Teejan as General Manager ,to oversee the management of trading and contracting division of the company.

Prior to joining Teejan, he was in India associated with Reliance Group Companies, L & T, Voest Alpine India and Jaiprakash Industries.  He has varied experience in construction Engineering & Project Management for various Industrial sectors such as Power, Refinery, Telecom and Real Estate, etc.
